Who We Are
American Citizens exists to help people better understand the structure of American government, the offices that serve it, and the responsibilities of citizenship. Our work is rooted in civics, not politics.
Our website is designed to explain the public offices voters should know about without attempting to persuade them which candidate they should or should not support. From local offices to national leadership, we aim to present clear, useful information that helps citizens become better informed.
We are also building additional resources to help citizens understand the deeper foundations of civic life, including what it means to be a citizen, what defines a nation, and how we function together within our Constitutional Republic, the United States of America.
